About 9 years ago, my oldest brother bought a 97 328i, he would let me take it for rides to the gas station to fill her up (think 19-20 yr old kid driving it like a bat out of hell) before he would go up and visit his g/f and I fell in love with the car ( E36 m3 rear dif, koni's all around and H&R sport springs). since then I've been wanting to get one of my own... In the mean time I joined the Navy, got married, bought a house, and have had a couple kids. Last October I was able to convince the wifey into buying an 02 X5 4.4i to replace her little Ford Focus. And now I have the bug again... I talked my wife into letting me get a new car next spring as long as I behave (no more speeding tickets...) So I've been on a quest for a 2006 330i... or a 335i if I find one low enough... So in the mean time I'm enjoying the last legs of my current weekend road warrior...
Nice, that X5 looks new! Good find. But, you haven't gotten "the bug" 'till you've driven an E30... (but I may be a little biased...)
