July 4th Bev and I usually spend the day working at Lime Rock Park at whatever race is running during the weekend. Then we enjoy all the small town fireworks as we drive through the country on our way home. Last year it was American LeMans. This year it will be vintage Jaguars. It's great to be an American!!!
I like to celebrate our independence by a nice spirited drive (maybe to Lime Rock) with the top down. Or just fire up the grill for some all American charred MEAT with plenty of ground Cayenne!!!
Oh? Lance says he celebrates the Fourth thus: What? You go racing Porsche crossover wagons to celebrate Independence Day?!
No, you got it all wrong... He means bits and pieces of Porsche machinery scattered all over the meat. He's already done with them; they've already shamefully lost, therefore have ended up on his food. Get with the program, Satch!
Usually stay home, wash and wax all the cars, eat some burgers, dogs and watch the fireworks at the community park. I love United States of Freedom
Uh-oh. . . Thanks for the reminders, guys! I just remembered the most inmportant element of the Fourth of July: That's when I got married, so I'd always remember the date!
close call There would have been all kinds of fireworks and possibly your body parts on the grill had you forgotten that very important bit of information
