I live in very warm climate and I'm wondering if owners in the southwest desert have seen the oil overheating issue more than others. Ive heard that Dinan for example makes a larger radiator to stop the overheating problem for hard use. Is this an issue for everyday use in extreme heat?

I don't live in the desert, but I do live in south-west Florida where the summer afternoons are typically 92+ F with 90% humidity. My oil temps never get above 250 F in stop & go traffic. I do have a 335i coupe with the oil cooler from the factory.

what year is your 335? does it have the sports package?

many non-sport package 335s did NOT come with an oil cooler which could obviously lead to higher oil temps.
