Depowering Steering

    Anyone have any input on depowering the steering rack on the E30 M3.

    Step 1: Cut power steering belt.

    Step 2: Drive.

    (ok, yes, there may be more to it)

    I think someone on r3vlimited is making plugs for the racks.

    Build up arm muscles? I think it is silly to depower a power steering rack when you can swap one in with a better ratio or a proper manual rack.
