So, I finally have my crack-free dash in place. Now, the next order of business is maintaining it. How can I maintain the crack-free nature of my dash without getting a cover? I don't want a cover because I don't want to have to remove it every time, and it doesn't look right. Besides, what's a crack-free dash worth if you can't show it off? Is there any kind of product that can be wiped on, or anything similar?

I've heard that things like the 303 contains some kind of acid that would deteriorate the dash over time? I believe products that can be applied to tires for a shine are harmful. Is there any truth to this? They say that 303 stuff is safe for use on dashes, so I hope this isn't a problem.
I've heard that Armor-All is actually harmful to our dashes. I trust just about anything with the Griott's name on it.
You see ArmorAll is one of the reasons I ask. I think that's one of the products that has the detrimental ingredients to the dash. Besides, I wouldn't touch ArmorAll with a 10-ft pole; it just irks me that everything stays greasy for ages, and backed with the possibility that it could damage my dash, I would never consider it.
I use a sun shade and put it in my front window every day, No cracks in the dash and the car has been in california and washington DC most of its life. I also use armor all every so often and have found it to work just fine
