So, I finally have my crack-free dash in place. Now, the next order of business is maintaining it.

How can I maintain the crack-free nature of my dash without getting a cover? I don't want a cover because I don't want to have to remove it every time, and it doesn't look right. Besides, what's a crack-free dash worth if you can't show it off?

Is there any kind of product that can be wiped on, or anything similar?

Griott's Garage Vinyl & Rubber Dressing

Expensive, but the last bottle I had lasted me three years...

I've heard that things like the 303 contains some kind of acid that would deteriorate the dash over time?

I believe products that can be applied to tires for a shine are harmful. Is there any truth to this?
They say that 303 stuff is safe for use on dashes, so I hope this isn't a problem.

ArmorAll wipes do the trick for me...and give it a nice sheen, too...

I've heard that Armor-All is actually harmful to our dashes. I trust just about anything with the Griott's name on it.

You see ArmorAll is one of the reasons I ask. I think that's one of the products that has the detrimental ingredients to the dash. Besides, I wouldn't touch ArmorAll with a 10-ft pole; it just irks me that everything stays greasy for ages, and backed with the possibility that it could damage my dash, I would never consider it.

I use a sun shade and put it in my front window every day, No cracks in the dash and the car has been in california and washington DC most of its life. I also use armor all every so often and have found it to work just fine
