Interchangeable Transmission?

    Can anyone tell me if it is possible to put a 6-speed mini cooper S transmission in my mini cooper? Also, can other years fit my 2003 mini?

    You can do it.

    it's not cheap, you loose your cruise control because the engine revs and the vehicle speed don't agree to what they should be and the ECU gets confused. It's actually cheaper to sell your cooper and put the money towards buying a used S.

    Mike at Texas Speed Works did the swap for his Justa Cooper that he tracks and there are write ups of the conversion.
