Is there any way to cut off the washer fluid line to the headlights? Randomly it will spray my headlights and it is very frustrating when you just washed your car because it sprays everywhere. In case it matters to answer the question, the car is a 335 coupe. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Good question. I imagine this could be frustrating, particularly depending on car color, like black. I'm not sure how to do it. I don't think it's random, I think it's every third squeeze of the windshield washer.

    Good Luck.

    Headlight washing

The manual for my 530i states that the headlights are cleaned every 5th time you activate the windshield washer.

Oh, and my service manual says the lights must be on for this to happen.
