Bimmers in the Horseshoe

North Carolina is a treasure trove of historic sites hiding in plain sight in beautiful locations. Many are located on easy access byways that most Carolinians just miss! The House in the Horseshoe is one such place. After a stop at the mansion (feel free to bring a picnic basket), the second leg of the tour will lead to historic Pittsboro ... home of a wonderful 1920's soda shoppe that makes the world's best milk shakes. The total drive is ~100 miles / 2 hours plus time to explore sites. Complete event can be done in 3-4 hours.
