Fredericksburg and Hill Country Annual Driving Tour

On March 4 - 6, the Lone Star Chapter will host the annual Fredericksburg and Hill Country trip, led by Raymond Mimick. The trip will depart at 9:00 a.m. Rooms will be reserved for our group at Sunday House Inn. Please call Judy at 830-997-4484 to reserve your room. Our rooms are reserved under the Lone Star BMW CCA. • Trip Itinerary: (Final routes and dining plans are still being determined.) Day 1 (Friday): Utilizing our past tour’s routes, we’ll have a quick trip down to Fredericksburg arriving about 3 p.m. Pit-stop schedules: Cleburne to Hico, Hico to lunch in Goldthwaite. Goldthwaite to Llano. Llano to Fredericksburg. Hotel Check-in, Wine Tasting tour. Dinner at our favorite German restaurant. • Day 2 (Saturday): We'll start at 8 a.m. Fast pace drive to Leakey and possibly out to Brackettville. We’ll return between 2 p.m - 3 p.m., depending on the distance. Saturday night: Dinner at Café at the Ridge in Kerrville, TX • Day 3 (Sunday): Return trip to DFW around 10 a.m. • Please let Ray ( rmimick@iname.com ) know when you make your reservations and we’ll get a list together for everyone.
