Club Race at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex

July 11, 2015 to July 12, 2015
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is a 10 day motor sport festival which benefits the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Valley School. The largest event of its kind kicks off July 11, 2014 with the Historic Races at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex. • The BMW CCA joins the Vintage Racer Group to comprise the Historic Races at PIRC. The VRG features cars from the 50's, 60's, and 70's; Allards, MG's Triumph's, Elva's, Cobra's, Camero's, Mustang's, Porsche's, Jaguar's and of course BMW's. • This year Pittsburgh International Race Complex is scheduled to complete its south track addition and this weekend will be the inaugural race event on the new track. The addition encompasses a challenging 85' elevation change followed by a blind hill and new straights before entering the existing north track. The full course will be 2.8 miles in length with a total of 18 corners. Track previews can be found on Youtube under PIRC. • If you have any questions, contact me at: bsutton135i@comcast.net • On behalf of the PVGP and the Allegheny Chapter I would like to take this moment to thank everyone who came out last year, and I am looking forward to seeing all of you this year. I am looking forward to getting some track time on the new course.
