Overnight Drive

We will drive over 350 miles over two days with an overnight stop in lovely Palm Springs. On Sunday, we will drive up, over and thru the San Jacinto Mountains on our way back home. We will leave early enough Sunday morning to get home around lunch time. Saturday we will meet at Target (2911 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, CA 92019) at noon. At 12:30, I will give a brief overview of the day's drive and will hand out directions. Sunday we will drive through the mountains back home. The reverse of the past two years, we will drive up from Banning thru Idyllwild and Mountain Center, continue thru Anza and Warner Springs. For lodging, it is up to you to make your own arrangements. The main hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at Cathedral City, 36101 Date Palm Dr, Cathedral City, CA 92234. Reservations can be made through their website or Hotels.com.
