In Abingdon, the downtown district with its brick sidewalks and tree-lined streets entice visitors to explore every block and visit every shop, restaurant and café. Including the famous Barter Theater and the beautiful Martha Washington Inn where we plan on staying. And, it would be a challenge for drivers to find a more beautiful driving trail than the scenic back roads around the area. Looping through the Blue Ridge Mountain range, the Claw of the Dragon is becoming one of the most popular destinations in the South for driving enthusiasts.
