Drive to Brattonville, SC

Brattonsville is great place for those with any interest in the history, culture and architecture of the people who settled upstate SC and the Piedmont regions of both SC and NC the during the 17th and 18th centuries. It is also the site of a significant battle of the Revolutionary War in our area that contribued to the failure of the British to establish support in the Carolinas. The buildings on site offer examples of Piedmont architecture from the mid 18th century to the early 20th century. Check out their website at http://chmuseums.org.
