Fall Tour to CT's Oldest Apple Farm

October 23, 2016
Be a part of a fall foliage parade of BMW's from Brookfield to Averill Farm in Washington, Connecticut. October is the perfect time to visit Averill Farm which has been continuously run by the family since the 260 acre property was purchased in 1746. Over 100 varieties of apples and pears are grown, but you can also enjoy the farm's offerings of cider, apple cider donuts, homemade jams and jellies, as well as pumpkins, gourds, maple syrup, honey, garlic and cheese. The BMW club will meet at On Track Karting, 100 Silvermine Road in Brookfield, off Federal Road, on October 23 at 1:00 p.m. and leave promptly at 1:30 p.m. The route will be approximately 20 miles to Averill Farm. Written directions will be provided in case anyone gets separated from the group. Please RSVP to club member Carol Miller at cmcircus@comcast.net. We hope to see you there!
