This incredibly well-preserved, but as yet unrestored, E24 633CSi has been my daily driver for the 4 years that I've owned it. Bought it from second owner, and the car has lived it's whole life in Arizona, so there is no significant rust anywhere, just very light surface rust in the couple of dime-size dings in the paint. No under-side rust at all. With only 140k miles, the car mechanically needs nothing. Since owning, I've only had to do a new water pump, few hoses and new front drive shaft & guibo, aside from routine tune-up stuff. Surprisingly, the hydraulic systems do not leak at all(first of my BMW's to NOT have steering booster leak). And the trunk tool kit is full! Cosmetically, as seen in photos, ORIGINAL paint has just a few small dings & one small fade area on hood, and the interior is in pretty darn great shape. Only one small tear in bottom corner of front passenger leather, where seat belt catches it, and just a few minor cracks in dash. Otherwise, really nice. It will need new tires in the next year, but no problems of significance beyond that. It's just a great car. Oh, and a/c works great! I just don't have the money or time to restore it, and I'm getting too old to drive a stick full time. I'll be happy with the '95 E34 my wife just bought for me. But the E24 has to pay for it.;-) In the hot, dry southwest, you'd have to look long & hard to find an E24 this well preserved for anywhere near as cheap.
