Description
It’s with a heavy heart I’ve decided to sell my e36, I’ve loved every minute of this car and it’s been with me through thick & thin these past 7 years, but I recently purchased a 335 as my daily and I just don’t drive the e36 as much anymore. I’ve grown and matured a lot over the course of its ownership, and have sunk hundreds of wrenching hours and many thousands of dollars in maintenance parts (all OEM) & modifications into it to get it to where it is now, and regret none of it. $3k in work (with receipts) within last 1,000 miles (more details below). Full photo gallery and maintenance/work list of car is available at link at bottom of this listing. |INFO/MODIFICATIONS:| Clean title, Cosmos-Schwarz metallic over saddle brown Vader interior, currently has 188,000 miles, however I’ve gone over everything the past year. Fully-optioned & fully-packaged from factory, literally. Please see the full factory build sheet available in link. Garage kept, non-winter driven past 2 years, battery kept on maintainer but car gets started every 2 weeks, kept on insurance so we can take it for a drive. M3 front & rear bumpers (replica front, genuine rear), Stromung catback exhaust, Bilstein B8/Eibach ProKit lowering springs @ 186,000 miles (including all new mounting & new hardware & shims etc), Suspension Techniques front sway bar. Genuine euro elipsoid headlights (wired properly). UAS keyless entry system w. comfort access (comes with 3 keys total), Bavarian Soundwerks stage 1 sound system, Pioneer headunit (has wiring for subwoofer, took mine out). Staggered 17” m3 DS2 wheels with Michelin Pilot sport AS3+, rears getting low on tread, but including gunmetal 16” sport wheels with Michelin X-Ice tires at 80% tread). FancyWide rear diffuser (removed currently), Wood floor trunk (interlocking pieces, easily removable), has subwoofer mounting brackets for 8” Sound Ordinance b8p subwoofer (no longer installed). | I will include a BINDER of receipts/work orders that I’ve amassed over the past 7 years. All parts purchased from FCP euro, were all OE or OEM or genuine bmw parts, and all work done by myself or by local specialist/restoration shop headed by Lawrence Charlemagne (well known among the e30/2002 community and owner of the seafoam green 2002). |WORK HISTORY:| Entire clutch & driveline overhaul, @ 188,000 miles including: Sachs clutch & pressure plate, LUK (OEM) dual mass flywheel, Trans mounts, NEW driveshaft, flex disc, carrier bearing, driveshaft end bushing, Pilot bearing, clutch fork & pivot, release bearing & spring, new trans crank & rear main seal; EVERYTHING was installed with new bolts and hardware. | Cooling system overhaul @ 186,500, including: radiator, waterpump, thermostat, fan, fan temp switch, fan clutch, fan shroud, expansion tank, hoses— all Mahle/Behr/Rein/Meyle brand, serpentine/AC belts, new pulleys, new tensioners. | Alternator & battery at 164k | Tie rods and endlinks and power steering hoses @ 165k | Genuine BMW power steering pump (not installed, never got the chance but will include with sale) | Passenger exterior door handle replaced (took me 12 hours) | I WILL INCLUDE MANY PARTS, including wood center console trim, spare factory amp & radio, whole box of valuable parts, original complete owners manual & booklet, airbag light code reader & reset tool, I’ll also include all the fluids for it, RedLine & LiquiMoly | Mileage should not be a concern at all, the m52 engines are indestructible, and every major system in the car has been refreshed/overhauled throughout my ownership |CONS:| needs control arm bushings installed (included), I mistakenly bought ones with the m3 offset bushings instead of the correct non-m ones | Slight whine from power steering pump (pump & hoses & fluid all included) | Brakes are getting very tired. | Asking $8500, willing to negotiate on price | FULL VEHICLE PHOTO GALLERY AND WORK LIST: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DANIoAnEGFAlnSM7dbMQ72ZT_Ri0LlzF
