It was special ordered from John Roberts BMW in Dallas, Texas, in 2002 and was the first Blue Water BMW 5-Series car in Texas.
According to 2002 Consumer Reports, the 2002 BMW 530 was the best car that they ever tested regardless of price, up until that time. It is a great combination of performance, technology, luxury, and utility. That is why I bought one.
This car has been meticulously serviced and maintained every 5,000 miles for the last 12 years by Sam Swope BMW here in Louisville, Kentucky, and before that by John Roberts BMW. The owner has all the BMW dealer service records and owner’s manuals. Everything works. Car garaged at home and at work.
Michelin Pilot MXM4, 225/55/16 tires were installed at 124,000 miles along with new rear brakes. Front brakes and rotors were replaced at 106,000 miles. Belts and hoses replaced at 100,000 miles. BMW battery and oil pan gasket installed. Over $18,000 for service and parts has been spent on this car to date.
