Three years ago I went to Munich and visited the factory. I did the same in 1982. In 1982 you got to tour the assembly line, but not anymore. They just show a video. I was told tours at Regensburg allow assembly line tours, not just video. Can anyone confirm this? If so, how do you apply for a tour slot? I plan to go in June with my family, but unfortunately not to pick up a new BMW. Don Murrell CCA # 9932
On my June '07 Euro Delievery, my girlfriend and I where able to get on a actual factory tour (there was a short video before the tour) at Regensburg with no trouble. I believe I filled out a form on the Regensburg website requesting a tour. Give me a few days and I will look for it.
