I agree - way overpriced. Either the engine rebuild on a M60 V8 or a paint job alone would rival or exceed the price of the car. This is a would-be $3300 car that's going to need another $5,000 put into it. I'd offer him $1,300 cash for it right now if I were so inclined, with advice to take it before I regain my senses.
I don't think anyone would pay 3k for a car that has "needs engine rebuild" in the description. I wonder how he knows that it needs a rebuild though since that coolant leak could just as easily (and more likely) be a head gasket.
