Have new 335ix coupe (first BMW), came with 17's, looking to put on aftermarket wheels, being in Minnesota with not the smoothest roads in the country do you think going to 19's is to harsh or should I go to 18's and stop there? Your guidance is much appreciated. thanks
I think you should go 17s unless you buy high quality wheels that will be strong enough to take abeating (like BBS wheels.) If you buy big, heavy, cheap wheels you will regret it. Hell, I bent an E28 M5 wheel on my way to WV and that is a strong 16" wheel!
