   I am a "newbie" not only to this site but also as BMW owner.
   
   Best car ever by a long shot-better than my vette.
   
   One or two issues:
   
   My Nav system makes a scratching sound from the DVD unit--my dealer tells me its the laser reading the DVD.
   
   Anybody else experiencing this subtle sound?
