MPG Question

    My '89 has a cold run issue. It stumbles and sometimes dies until warmed up and appears to be a lean mixture. The "Check Engine" light came on momentarily, but did not set a permanent code. I seem to be only able to squeeze out about 24 MPG if I drive it like a granny. Driving like a normal human gets about 21 or 22 MPG on twisty mountain environment. Any thoughts? THXs

    My 85 euro 635csi gets about 24 MPG on the interstate. Don't know about in town mileage, but I assume it to be +-20 MPG.
