After the race this weekend at VIR, I can very proudly say that I am much more confident in the upcoming merger and future of BMW in the alms. Beyond that, I also wanted to express how awesome it was to see so many different BMW groups banded together and fraternizing. In front of the paddock I was able to meet a very nice young man from the mafia (this months Roundel issue) whom assured me that I would fit right in with the mafia, one and all. Also, the guys over at flow BMW group were very awesome and animated. Shamefully, but also gratefully I got free hospitality from Audi. It was a subdued almost boring group of people to hang with and found that I belonged two tents over. Which I ventured that way a few times. With a random bimmerworld shirt person here and there, I almost felt I was surrounded by family! Again, thank you BMW fans for sticking out in the crowd... In a good way.
