Hello there! 740i vs 540i with sport pkg

I just joined today and was hoping to get a bit of help from more experianced members.

Just test drove a 2001 740i this past weekend . It is listed at $15K with 81k miles and in better than good shape. i also saw a 2001 540i auto with sport (M) and cold weather package for $14k with 100k miles. Was hoping to get some feedback good or bad on each car.

On a personal note; I am just about done on a 2 year divorce. I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
