   hello all im back thanks for the help with the head rest karl and cecil they work great now to the reason for the post with time time being 1 month my e brake goes up more and more and not holding as well as it did before the brakes are fine is there an adj. that can be made its a 1990 525i

   Yep. The cable just needs to be adjusted via the rear wheels.
