I just realized my daytime lamp are not on during the day. I read the owner manual and it said I would need to have the car "programmed" to turn them on. Does anyone know how I can program the car myself to turn on the DRLs for my 2006 M3? Thank you,
Only a dealer can do it, or an independent shop specializing in BMWs that has the required equipment. It's not a DIY job. The attached form shows the settings they can reconfigure for you. If you have a good relationship with your dealer and ask them to take care of this while the car is in for some other service, they might do it free of charge as a courtesy. Otherwise, expect to pay a 0.5-1.0 hour labor charge.
