    I used to live in Madison. I didn't have a BMW at the time, but had a Porsche that an excellent independent mechanic named Lee Grunewald (Sp?) worked on. I am quite sure he didn't work on anything but Porsches, but may have a recommendation for you because he's just a great car guy and was well connected. Good luck.
