My L6 is leaking transmission fluid. The fluid is running from the open hole on the bottom in front of the transmission fluid pan but behind the engine. I replaced the read main seal about three years ago. From my limited understanding of things, the rear main seal is a seal between the engine and the tranny and the oil that leaks from there is engine oil, right? With this leak, it seems to be at the front of the tranny. I thought I had a leak in the pan gasket at the front of the tranny pan but when I got it all cleaned up, it was actually coming from the big bell housing in front of the pan? Any ideas what that is and what it is going to take to fix it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Darin
