325 A/C Problem

    Going to the dealer tomorrow but I have a problem where the air conditioner sometimes doesn't come on when you first start up the car. May take 5 to 10 minutes before it engages.....any ideas?

    What year is the car? Does the A/C not blow cold for 5 minutes, or does the fan not come on?

    periodically, it just doesn't come on for a few minutes, after it comes on it appears to be ok.

    If the blower is not coming on at first you most likely looking at a weak battery. The A/C blower by design is one of the first things to shut down when low voltage is detected. Don't be surprised if they recommend a battery to you.
