2007 328i Sputtering

My friend has a 2007 328i with 57k miles that is sputtering when coming to a stop. There is no CEL and the idle is slightly rough. I will pull codes tonight with my Peake and Actron CP9830. Is there anything that I should be looking for specifically?

I checked out my friend's car. No codes with a Peake scanner. I didn't have my Actron with me as I had loaned it to another friend. Sputtering wasn't an accurate description it turns out. The car has a slight vibration in the driveline when coming to a full stop. When the transmission is in neutral, this doesn't happen. It didn't do this when he first got the car around 45 or 48k miles. It popped up after we jacked the car up and did an oil change. I lifted the car up from the front subframe's center jacking point. Is this a coincidence?
