528iT - M Goodies!`=

The rare and desirable 5-sp manual E39 in wagon form. The rear suspension is airbag (rather than springs) and tracks beautifully. The original owner was an M-fan, so everything on the car (except engine and exhaust) is M-Technik including the side-view mirrors; lowered suspension, and xenons. The interior has the stainless-steel M trim with metal pedals and M-steering wheel. The rear windows have retractable shades, and there is a custom aluminum cup holder on the front console. The stereo system has the Dice iPod integration with the BSW subwoofer that is VERY effective! Recent work includes new windshield; new radiator and aux cooling fan; front lower control arms; thermostat; front rotors and pads; and 4 new tires. The wheels are 17-inch Hartge. It burns virtually no oil (Castrol Sytec) and O&F every 10k (per my mechanic). Other fluids and filters at factory intervals. Transmission has good synchros and clutch good but 3rd gear is a little vague (like many). The exterior is in excellent shape for age and mileage. Wheels do have some curb rash. The car came with an M front spoiler but after crunching two (thanks again to the wife) I got conservative with a 540 bumper cover (shown in picture). 2 keys included; keyless entry works fine. The only mechanical need of which I am aware is front shock mounts. A solid car at a great price -- which is in line with NADA. For more pics here are two links (ignore "325" label)
