1980 528i 5-Speed (E12)

3rd inland LA-based SoCal owner, original paint (in good condition). The car is all original except for the seats and radio, though I kept the original seats and they're included. It is currently my driver, with current smog certificate and registration. It is quite clean; the dash has only minor cracks near the dash-centered 'information center'. Everything works, including the R12 AC and its blower speeds, powered windows, power locks, and all interior and exterior lights. The transmission is NOT notchy; the M30 has been through minor refurbishing at my own hands, including all fuel rubber and most cooling system rubber -- including fuel tank cleaning. The tires are new. I have a whole laundry list of maintenance items I've done that I can send you, as well as a thorough inspection (though the best inspections are done by you, in person, which I welcome). The mileage is NOT correct, estimated at more than 150,000 miles. The odometer works and shows 50,000 miles and counting; the odometer gears was one of my fixes. Let me be clear: this is not a showroom car. And it is NOT a project. It's a driver. That means different things to different people.
