E39 wagon Bilsteins

Bilstein Shocks for e39 wagon with SLS. Installed by previous owner about 10,000 miles ago. Replaced with Dinan S2 kit. HD front F4 VE3 B408HI (0410 VE3 B408HI) $182.95 EACH at bavauto* * Bilstein makes both "HD" and "Sport" front shocks for 98-03 E39/2 wagons. The HD shocks are for cars with original, standard front springs. If your car was ordered with the factory Sport Package, or if the springs have been changed to an aftermarket pair from Dinan, or H&R, Alpina, etc., you need the Bilstein "Sport" front shocks. Sport rear (for self-leveling rear suspension only- all 540IT, some 528IT) F4 BE5 6096 HO (3010 BE5 6096HO) $134.95 EACH at bavauto ** **Self Leveling Suspension cars have air suspension at the rear. Bilstein specifies their "rear "Sport" shocks for the SLS wagons, both standard and Sport Package. (The rear suspension hardware is the same, the SLS "Sport Package" ride height is lower due to different settings of the airbags.)
